Community events like weddings, concerts, conferences and so on, are a major source of waste. Most of the waste from such events is neither segregated nor processed, and usually ends up in landfills. .
To formulate a plan for waste management in any facility, it is imperative to first analyse the modes of waste generation in the facility. As part of waste-auditing, we partner with clients to assess the quantum of waste generated in the client’s site, as well as the types of waste generated.
EPR was a landmark addition to the set of Solid Waste Management rules introduced in 2016. As part of EPR, a producer’s responsibility over any of its products extends to the end of the product’s life cycle. Therefore, a producer will be responsible for handling the waste generated when a product is disposed.
Green Worms partners with FMCG firms to aid them in the process of destroying expired products. We also provide services to destroy confidential documents. As with other projects, we oversee and execute the process on an end-to-end basis.
